My vision is to see more women be bold, step forward, and be heard in the board room and beyond. I am an advocate for supporting and encouraging women to pursue their dreams and recognize their potential. Everyone should be recognized for his or her talent, have the opportunity to hone his or her skills, and be celebrated each and every day.
Engaging with clients and teams remotely is familiar territory. While nothing replaces face-to-face, there are creative ways to keep people motivated, engaged and feel valued. Building trust is my number one priority.
Working with people and helping them navigate their travel journey was my calling and continues to be. Being a team leader provided me with the foundation to learn how to manage through frequent and unexpected change. Operating in disaster recovery mode strengthened my abilities to provide support and leadership to my clients and my direct reports. I was able to pivot within a moment’s notice when faced with world events such as 9/11 and the 2008 financial crisis. Ensuring that clients and direct reports continue to thrive was the main focus. Throughout the 25 + years in the industry I focused on advancing my skills, supporting my clients, and identifying opportunities to level up, resulting in an executive leadership role.
While at Protravel International, I utilized my operations and account management skills to collaborate with my direct reports and collectively we supported independent business owners, providing guidance with tools, technology, data reporting, financial review and marketing initiatives to support their business objectives.
